✺ Showreel Dic 2025
Hi, I’m YOYI.
I’m a digital artist and designer. Originally from Caracas and based in Buenos Aires, I’ve spent the last six years exploring the convergence of art and design.
My journey began with analog sketches, evolving into a practice where I now use motion, sound, and interactive code to make concepts feel alive.
I’m looking to partner on projects that celebrate color, texture, and artistic expression. My focus is the intersection of art, music, fashion, and audiovisual media. (please check my desktop view — it took me like 1 month with no sleep, coding till dawn, it is worth it!)
Hi, I’m Johana, known as YOYI.
I’m a digital artist and designer with six years of experience. My journey began with analog sketches and hand-drawn illustrations, evolving into a career where I now use motion, sound, and interactive code to bring ideas to life.
Originally from Caracas, I’ve made Buenos Aires my home for the past eight years. I’m currently finishing my degree in Multimedia Design at Escuela Da Vinci, where I’ve combined my self-taught roots with formal technical training.
Today, I focus on projects that prioritize color, texture, and interactive expression. My goal is to keep creating at the crossroads of art, music, fashion, and audiovisual media putting my heart into every project I take on.
Hi, I’m Johana, but most people call me YOYI.
I moved to Buenos Aires eight years ago, and although I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela, this city is now home. I’ve been working as a digital artist and designer for about six years, and my path has been anything but linear. It started with analog sketches and hand-drawn illustrations that I would scan and digitize. By combining self-taught experimentation with mentorship and short courses, I took my first steps doing commissions and creating my own merch—which taught me the value of seeing my art come to life in the physical world.
Over time, my curiosity pulled me deeper into design. I am currently finishing my degree in Multimedia Design at Escuela Da Vinci, where I’ve been able to formalize and refine the skills I spent years building on my own.
For me, it’s all about thinking transmedia. I care about how an idea scales and functions across different platforms. I always look at the big picture to ensure every project from marketing strategies to visual ecosystems is functional and built to grow, not just look pretty.
You can browse all my projects on mobile, but some animations and interactive details are easier to appreciate on desktop.
